United States (U.S.) – B-2 Visitor Visa

• Purpose: Tourism, vacation, visiting family or friends, medical treatment, and participation in social events.​

  Validity: Typically up to 10 years with multiple entries; each stay not exceeding 6 months.​

  
  

  Application Process:

  1. Complete the DS-160 Form: Fill out the online non-immigrant visa application form.​

  2. Pay the Visa Fee: Pay the non-refundable visa application fee.​

  3. Schedule Appointments: Book appointments for both the Visa Application Center (VAC) for biometrics and the U.S. Embassy or Consulate for the visa interview.​

  4. Attend the VAC Appointment: Provide fingerprints and a photograph.​

  5. Attend the Visa Interview: Present required documents and answer questions regarding your travel plans.​

  • Valid Passport: With at least six months validity beyond the intended stay.​

  • DS-160 Confirmation Page: Proof of completed application form.​

  • Visa Appointment Confirmation: Details of scheduled appointments.​
